Instructor Darrell Burton,

has a Master's Degree in Clinical Therapy Social Work from USA Today's #1 Ranked Best Graduate School The University Of Michigan and a Bachelors Degree in Criminology from California State University Fresno.  

Instructor Burton is a consultant on Use of Force topics to agencies and departments, an internationally recognized instructor with an emphasis on Use of Force Tactics for Law Enforcement and a personal instructor as such to executives and private clients.  A certified instructor with the California Peace Officer’s Standards and Training (POST) commission, a fitness trainer and a lifelong student of the Martial Arts. The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), an international organization created for Law Enforcement Instructors awarded Instructor Burton in 2010 First Place Honors in the ILEETA Officers Challenge, a competition that tested an officer’s legal knowledge as well as an officer’s situational fitness level. With nearly 10 years of experience in the field of Law Enforcement working with both adults and juveniles in multiple capacities.  Instructor Burton is more than capable of meeting your training needs with fitness and self-protection training.

Training people to survive in Tense, Uncertain and Rapidly evolving encounters has been the philosophy of Instructor Burton for several years.  Completing hundreds of hours in training to protect executives and dignitaries, firearms instruction, and close quarter combative’s have all led to him forming his own company, T . T . W.  which stands for (Training That Works).  A company focused on utilizing the most useful and simplistic training methods to dissolve unsavory encounters as they present themselves.
